Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen National Sports Day to promote Fit India. He also urged the people of the country to be a part of the launch of this campaign. Prime Minister Modi announced the launch of the campaign in a monthly radio programme “Man Ki Baat” on August 27. And finally, he launched the Fit India Movement at the Indira Gandhi Stadium complex in Delhi at 10 am. He addressed the nation telling benefits of exercise, yoga, physical exercise and staying healthy.
Minister Prakash Javarekar tweeted in support of the Prime Minister. He expresses that to stay fit, someone needs to adopt some good habits. On National Sports Day Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of the country to join the Fit India movement. So people need to join this program and make India as a full-fledged country full of youthful and positivity.
